Once you have completed signup, PackageRoute will automatically discover your drivers (and vehicles and routes). Your routes must be running for this auto-discovery. If for some reason a driver was not discovered by PackageRoute, you can manually add them to your operation. You will still need to authorize and assign a route to them.
To manually add drivers to your operation, and authorize them to use PackageRoute, you will need their FedEx Id, DOT expiration date, email and phone number.
You can also add your drivers using the WebApp. Log into your PackageRoute account and go to Settings > Drivers & BCs. Your WebApp account always shows the same settings as the PackageRoute App on your phone. The added drivers will automatically show in your App.
- From the main menu, tap the gear icon for settings. Then tap Drivers & BCs. This should show you a list of all your Drivers & BCs currently setup in your operation.
-
Tap the Add button on the bottom right to add a driver or BC. To update an existing driver, simply tap the driver in your list.
In the Add Driver settings
- Tap Type to toggle user role between BC and Driver. Remember, your BC can see data for all your routes. Your Driver can only see data for his assigned routes.
- Tap FedEx ID to enter your Driver or BCs FedEx ID.
- Tap DOT Expiration Date to enter or update the date when your Driver or BCs DOT registered physical expires. PackageRoute will then remind you 30 days before this expiration date to renew status.
Your drivers FedEx ID and DOT expiration is maintained on MGBA under Workforce Information > Assoc / Disassoc > View Info > Physical

Tap Add to add or Save to update
