Before you can use PackageRoute to track hours of service for your drivers and BCs, you should set a Pay Period to match your payroll schedule. If you DO NOT set a pay period in your PackageRoute Tiimecard settings, then your default pay period is set to Manual.
You can also set your Timecard settings using the WebApp. You can access this via the Account button on our website. Use your FedEx ID and password to log in. Your WebApp account shows the same settings as the PackageRoute App on your phone.

From the main menu, tap the gear icon for settings. Then tap Timecards.

Tap and select the Pay Period Length to match your payroll schedule. Your options are 1 week or 2 weeks or Manual.
1 week, 2 weeks
Most payroll schedules are either every week or every other week. You should set this to match your payroll schedule. Once selected, you will also be asked to choose the First Day of Period so PackageRoute can correctly track hours of service based on your payroll schedule. For example, if pay day is Friday, then the first day of your Pay Period is Saturday.
Manual
The Manual pay period implies that the length of your pay period is set manually by you each time. With this option, you choose when to start a new pay period. After each pay day, you can start a new manual pay period. We do NOT recommend using this pay period option.
